Please note I can only include events from the Pontefract/Castleford and surrounding areas in the P&C Express, as Wakefield gigs are obviously covered by Wakefield Express. Gigs listed in the Express are generally used by Ridings FM and other local stations as a source for local event announcements. This is a free concessionary service which I do freelance from home to help keep live music going in this area. I cannot guarantee inclusion! Pressure of advertising space, text messages that go astray etc can all cause gigs to be omitted. Out of my hands!!! Any venues wanting GUARANTEED inclusion of events should contact the advertising department of the relevant newspaper. Thanks to all who regularly contact me to keep me supplied with listings.
